Memory & Murder
Our work for Joe Berlinger’s Crime Scene series takes an impressionistic approach to telling stories from the past. Using layers of footage, textures and light we created sequences that could tell more of an emotional story than traditional recreation footage. We created over 130 sequences across seasons 1 and 2 that explored mental illness, fragmented memory, murder and the rise of New York City’s sex industry.
